Looks fake, feels like nothing makes sense here, like it's artificial, like it's a big party. People are dressed for a party, are highly consumerists, and in their way to something. But I'm talking about the tourists, not the locals. The natives are either very tradicional or very into turistic exploration. Something to consider is that drugs - I'm talking about cocaine - are being comercialized under the plain sun in the small streets connecting the main streets to each other. From pictures of the past is possible to see that the prevalent ideas here are those of commerce and capitalism, the essence of a fishers village had long disappeared in the middle of commercial buildings that are more and more taking the space that one day sand had occupy. With this phenomena too, the values of the community one day very vibrant here are being buried. The barter system of one day is now replaced with cash, cards and even cryptocurrency. The individual now has more value than the community, the worker, the families, because the individual is who brings money not to the village itself, but the business owners that I suspect in their vast majority not even live here. And if I'm correct about this assumption, this type of phenomena generate not empowerment but impoverishment, because the money, a store of value added to the village is drained to pockets far from here, doesn't matter if it flows to the main city of Jijoca de Jericoacoara, Fortaleza, São Paulo or London, Paris or New York City - what I can quite surely assume happens. If the money does not stay into the commune, the inequality and poverty only get bigger. A solution than? We can talk about development plans, policies and the government involvement into creating constraints to investments and business, but a deeper problem here is: the state is captured by the organized crime. But one can still focus in watching birds with red heads eat the leftovers of a family's breakfast direct from their plates, under a table, over the sand floor of a village's bakery. And the ultimate solution is that of raising ourselves conscience, and after that, the world will reflect what we've shaped, from the fire of our heart, and from the purity of our souls deepests intentions. And this way, we begin or journey.
Now, point os consideration: the service standards of the average service providers are very low if we consider the place has global appeal and receive people from all over the world from many countries. It's a hard problem to figure out, because there is no bigger agent that regulates standards or set the tone of service like we have with industry standards. Shure we can have parameters to mirror like São Paulo service standards (they are not standards in fact, are the reality) or Dubai or New York, but there is no one dealing with this. Where one starts even? A onthology? Sure language and categories are a problem, but they solve the equation in complete? Maybe 80% if we consider that our worlds are so big as our vocabulary. We need a common set of categories, or maybe this ontology is part of something even bigger, a paradigm. But a paradigm for what?
